When you want to decline a new account or remove an existing one from your book or you suggest to your client that they consider the use of invoice discounting to complement their line of credit we have found that the most effective approach to take is to simply get permission from the party for you to give us their name and a thumbnail sketch of the situation. When a business sells invoices to us, they provide us with written permission for bankers and others who have a duty of confidentiality to speak openly to us. We provide it to you to facilitate a free exchange of information.
When we are providing advances that are complementary to yours, we will request a specific release from your security interest for the invoices your client wishes to sell. Sometimes the release will be for all invoices from one or more specific customers. Regardless, you will have the information you require for account management.
