Malcolm Williamson participated in Province of Ontario pre-budget consultations.
Malcolm attended pre-budget discussions held in Ottawa at the Westin Hotel on November 20th at the invitation of Dwight Duncan, Minister of Finance for the Province of Ontario. Also participating on behalf of the Province was Jim Watson, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing together with a select group of about 74 other Ottawa business and association leaders. The discussions were held in a few selected cities across the Province to garner constructive ideas for the Provincial government to take into consideration in advance of introducing the upcoming provincial budget. In these difficult economic times, the feedback from those of us who participated will play an important role in guiding the province to maintain its competitiveness on the world stage and Malcolm Williamson and Acorn were pleased to play a role in this direction.
